I’ve been casually fishing for years I’ve used spinning reels and button release. I’ve never used a bait caster. I don’t know much about bait or fish for that matter. Everyone I’ve seen have talked about bass with the bait caster. Is it made specifically for bass. Can you use it for cat, bluegill, etc. someone please fill me in

goin camping this thursday to tuesday up to the top of Algonquin here in Ontario. gonna be fishin ALLLLLL weekend. dont have a boat but i might be able to rent smthn for a few hours

Its not like they can stop you from fishing near your dock its not like we get on the thier dock you can be in the water and fish around the dock or close to it.

Is it possible to punch algae mats in ponds, like the ones that build up on the bank, bass love to hide under those because they provide shade and some cover for baitfish. I know a frog will work but I want to get under the mats. The snot grass on the bottom doesn’t help either, any ideas?

I had some fishing tackle and gear given to me last year by an older friend after I started fishing more, I used to as a kid a lot. It was his wife's now deceased first husband before they both met. I have figured out what a lot of the things were now that I didn't know then and one of them is one of these jigs. The first time I saw and held it, I was like, "What the heck is this or what is it even supposed to look like."? Then I saw the thumbnail for this video and now I know.

It's satisfying when you get to the "it's almost like I've done this before" in anything in life. Can't teach experience.

First off great video! Sadly I am still very much confused on what I should actually get so I could use a little help. I mostly fish in a pretty clean lake but there are some small lilly pad areas for frogs. Should I go with a 7"1 M or a 7"1MH... Would the option to throw lighter lures be better than using a MH beings there's not much cover?

I grew up fishing texas rig. I caught many in the 10 pound range. And my biggest a 12 pounder all in Florida. I used big worms 10 inch plus. And yes lil bass have no problem eating big worms. U catch just as many and entice the bigger ones alot more. And there are different techniques. I used to almost just shake my worm in the same place with a lil slack line let it sit for a few seconds then repeat. And lizards always worked good also. And when u cast let it fall to the bottom let it sit a few seconds. They eat worm reeling or swimming also

Tyler do you have any videos on the process of getting permission on fishing these ponds? Not sure about Texas but most of these neighborhood ponds in Oklahoma are for the homeowners around only, so I'm wondering how you're getting permission to fish these ponds.

I'd like to go to Lake Geneva WI for bass. I'm in a FB fishing page and a guy I'm acquaintances with offered to take me on a guide trip for a price that's out of my budget. I'd also like to take a guide trip to northern WI for a monster musky trip, and northern MN for large walleye, preferably during a northern lights show. Thanks for keeping the struggle real, many of my trips end up getting skunked.

Tyler, I just wanted to say I really appreciate the videos you make. I grew up fishing with just worms and bobbers, but this decided try bass fishing. I was starting with very limited knowledge about rods,reels, baits, and lures. So thank you for all the information you share in all your videos.

Dude I had lost a big one on Sunday and I wonder if I could have got him in with some braid but the fish went into a water release gate and there was a concrete beam at the water level and broke off

If you fish in ocean side and water got lots of waves can you use sinker like 2-3 oz with those

I've bank fished that little lake before.. few years ago.. caught multiple 4lbers along that quarry ledge. Haven't been back since I got my kayak last year though - sure looks like a fun challenge

For pond 84, I caught two 4 pounders in one day with a white outcast tackle swimjig, on the first side you went to in the video, about a month ago.

I find if I use a smaller hook I have a tendency to gut hook fish
